David is a Specialist General Paediatrician.

He obtained his qualification in 1991 at London University, and trained and worked as a General Paediatrician in the NHS before being recruited by Queensland Health in 2010.

He has been a Consultant since 2002 and has been working at AWPG for the past 7 years.

He is a Senior lecturer at UNSW and is actively involved in teaching and training medical students.

Dr Newsom has helped develop our allergy clinic and introduce oral treatments for hay-fever.

He also sees many children with behavioural, developmental and all other Paediatric problems.

He aims to provide thorough assessment and helpful medical plans in a timely manner.

David loves living in Albury with his wife and three kids.
