The Albury Wodonga Paediatric Group is looking for a General Paediatrician to join our thriving private clinic.

Our practice currently has 5 full time general paediatricians together with a community paediatrician.

Albury-Wodonga has an estimated population of 100,000 with a catchment of approximately 200,000 people in the surrounding area. Our David Street clinic provides a base for outpatient work in the region. This position will involve a rich mixture of medical and developmental problems for children and young people. AWPG offers:

  • Visiting Sub-Specialists including respiratory, cardiology, endocrinology, haematology/oncology, and neurology.

Albury-Wodonga is 3.5 hours by road from Melbourne and Canberra. The area has great schools, excellent cafes, playgrounds and is close to ski fields . Several daily flights from Sydney and Melbourne.

There are 4 registrar positions. The Paediatricians at Albury-Wodonga Paediatric Group are involved in the training and supervision of post-graduate doctors in Paediatrics.

One (1) registrar is appointed directly via Albury-Wodonga Health through the Victorian Paediatric Rural Advanced Training process:

  • 2 positions each 6 months
  • Accredited for the mandatory advanced training regional/rural term
  • Enquiries to Dr David Christie or Dr Mark Norden
  • Two (2) Paediatric Registrar positions with NSW Greater Eastern Paediatric Physician training network:
  • 2 registrars are appointed via the NSW Greater Eastern Paediatric Physician training network
  • Both positions are accredited for the RACP mandatory rural/regional term
  • Applications via the NSW Health website

One (1) Paediatric registrar position with the Canberra Hospital Paediatric Training Program:

  • 1 registrar is appointed via the Canberra Hospital Paediatric Training program
  • Applications are via the Canberra hospital
